Located on the grounds of The Inn at Lost River, the Lost River General Store is believed to have been built in 1898, however historical documents indicate the store existed thirty years before when the Lost River Valley was still a part of neighboring Virginia. For more than eleven decades this gem of a store has served as the centerpiece and the place to meet in the Lost River Valley for travelers from near and far.
Continuing the timeless tradition, today the Lost River General Store still serves as a hub in the valley and offers an array of goods to tickle your fancy and make you smile.
